This is a list of everybody who has visited me for treatment, or who I have visited, or bought a scenar and bought ZAST for self treatment at home. This list shall be updated regularly. I will not be displaying people's names unless they want me to. There have been a number of problems since the inception of this procedure, but mistakes are to be expected at the beginnings of such things. So please note that unless the following conditions have been met it is unlikely to be the case that there are positive results. i. a range of frequencies is applied. The necessity of which was recognised in Jan 08. ii. a suitable priming treatment using a probe like Z1, is applied for a few sessions before actual application of probe Z2 (as outlined in "Z1 treatment" of ZAST) This is the stage that I went through whilst experimenting, between Aug and Oct 07 as mentioned in "my story", but I did not recognise its necessity until around May 08. iii. a suitable Z2 probe is used to apply "Z2 treatment". Although the first (Z2a) and third (Z2c) worked, they were uncomfortable, the second (Z2b) worked OK and was quite comfortable but I could not reproduce it. The forth (Z2d) did not work due to an error I made, but the fifth (Z2e) worked fine. Inferior previous probes have had a strong negative impact on the results in my opinion. The fifth and only truely satisfactory probe was made in Oct 08 and should be the standard for the foreseeable future.
Z1 treatment involves using a small probe to stimulate the area around the top of the ear canal; this is repeated around the bottom of the ear canal. I believe this is necessary to free up movement of the nerve fibres, permitting the signal from Z2 to travel with fluidity and without pain. It does seem however that the younger the patient the less need there is for this stage, see here Z2 treatment involves forming a circuit around the middle/inner ear area by putting opposing electrodes on either side of the ear canal, see here.
