Help with Lumbar Spine and Annulus Tear and Bulging Disc
« on: October 27, 2011, 06:39:33 PM »

I have Got my Own Scenar sports digital - and would like to know what's the Best settings and Areas (treatment Plan) for using this myself on -
Lower Back - I have mainly Disc Loss height (L3/4), Disc Bulging and a Annulus Tear on mid and left paracentral location L4/L5, narrowing central Canal and displacementof the thecal sac, etc
Also Disc protrusion of L5/S1 .
I also Hav Neck Pain and cracking sounds when Rotate but this is only 3 months old where Back problems go's on for years and have been told neck is Ok (maybe to much at computer) So not sure if this is related to Lower Back Problems ??

And specific Help of what I should use and where exactly should I use for this Problem would be great - EG, use Dose , fm, am

I also Have Stick on Pad and Scenar bell electrodes and would love to know best way and setting to use these on as the Booklet just does not cover that.

Thanks mark

Hi, well I would be getting someone else to do it for me, as it is not easy to treat your back yourself, and i would use objective mode, however, your device does not have this setting. I would use 3 paths 6 points technique on the whole back, but someone else would need to do it on you. If this is not possible just basic settings, energy set just above comfortable, and standard brushing technique over the complaint, and FMVar for 2mins on the stickiest area.

Do you have a manual? free ones here, although not for your model, they still describe some techniques :)

Hi Zephiloyd

Thanks for that - I Can sometimes Get my Girlfriend to Do some for me , But most of time will be Just myself, Is there any way I should use the Stick Pads correctly (what Settings are best) and what about the Bell Electrodes Using Also ??
How often do you recommend Using also .
Thanks Mark

You could use the pads on the area in FMVar or when treating yourself for ease of use. I wouldn't bother with the bell electrodes in this case.

Hi

Thanks for the Info -
the 6 points and 3 paths - are the ones on 15 and 16 in the Manual ( 6 points on Face ) and 3 lines down the Spine are the 21 Individual Doses in correct order down Spine (as Diagram 7.1) ???
is this Correct ??

Yes Thanks I have a Manual - But they are not very well Written or Explained for Specific Areas / Problems , I also had over 12 Appointments with a Scenar Therapist But did not help Much
thanks Mark

OK I see, no that will be fine, it will be the standard 3p6p as you mention. But I am not familiar with your device, which is an intermediate device between home and prof. I would use the subjective mode protocol, which if you don't have detail of is difficult to explain. I do have a detailed manual which you can have for £10 which gives more information. half way down this page. Contact me directly to get email please.

I have just completed reading this book and I am really impressed by the way the writer has expressed his views with brilliant explanation.
