Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum, but I had some questions about SCENAR I was hoping someone could answer.
I recently tore my right-knee ACL in a snowboarding accident, and am scheduled for surgery to repair it on the ninth of April, 2008. So very soon, in other words. My friend was telling me about the wonders of SCENAR and I was wondering if it would be as effective (if at all) on an injury such as an ACL tear. I'm sure it would stop pain and such, but would it actually repair the damage?
I am 21 years old and very active, and the surgery due next week would force me to drastically drop my activity level over the summer. No wakeboarding, hiking, running, etc. My snow season has already been cut short (admittedly by only a month, but it still sucks!) and I was hoping to find out more about this before I go under the knife.
Also, what would the recovery time be, if such a repair is possible with the system? With surgery, recovery is close to six months. :,(
Thanks in advance for any replies! And I am also undergoing another surgery in May to tighten up my shoulder from an old dislocation injury. Would SCENAR take care of that too?
I thought that I should post because I don't know if anyone else here would be able to answer your question quick enough. My advice is ditch the surgery and get an appointment booked with a scenar therapist immediatley ( make sure they are not using a DENS or DENAS though, they cheap and not as effective ) . The scenar will inform your brain internally that there is a problem and will speed up the natural healing process. Whilst you are waiting for your appontment research scenar results and what other people have said on the internet, there is plenty to read.
This is especially of use to you
http://www.nrg-unlimited.com/patient_success_stories.php?success_story=rasmussenI know that this website is about INTERX but (whispering) its the same thing as scenar, just don't tell Zulia I said that.
These comments also apply to your shoulder.
Recovery time should be roughly halved.
